Refund and Cancellation Policy
Information about appointment cancellations, deposits, diagnostic charges and refunds.
This information is provided for transparency and does not replace your statutory rights. Please contact us if you need clarification about how a term applies to your vehicle or booking.
1. Service work
Once work has started, charges may apply for labour, diagnostics, materials and parts already supplied or ordered. Any refund request will be considered on its individual circumstances and in accordance with applicable consumer law. Nothing in this policy removes your statutory rights where a service has not been performed with reasonable care and skill.
2. Deposits and special-order parts
We may request a deposit or payment in advance for parts or work. If you cancel after parts have been specially ordered, we may recover reasonable costs actually incurred where legally permitted and where the terms were made clear. A deposit is not automatically non-refundable in every circumstance.
3. Appointment cancellations
Please give at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or rearrange an appointment. Short-notice cancellations may affect workshop availability. Any cancellation charge will only be applied where it was properly disclosed, is fair and is permitted by law.
4. Diagnostics
Diagnostic charges cover the time and testing used to investigate a reported fault and may remain payable even where testing does not identify a definitive fault. This is subject to the agreed scope of work and your statutory rights.
5. Refund requests
To discuss a cancellation or refund, contact info@vicprosautocentre.com or call 01234 708700. Please provide your name, vehicle registration, invoice or job reference and details of your request.
